Another Self Portrait / Aimless shufflings is a collection of images i've
acquired over the years for no apparent reason. they are on my hard drive
and i seldom look at them or use them, but i keep collecting. so i made a
booklet and poster out of them all, to see if there was any coherency in them
once they were ordered into a chronological, unified object.
It is printed in two sessions; colour laser, and subsequently black &
white laser, for the text. The grid is set, and the images are placed; all
relative in size: 1-1 to their true dimensions at 300dpi. The design is default;
in the sense that everything is placed in a grid, which may or may not accommodate
the image or text, leaving unpredictable layouts, where images can wrap around
to the next page, and texts to be read, even over the darkest images. Texts
are researched on the world wide web.
